Welcome to Valley View Caravan Park!

Our mission at Valley View Caravan Park is to provide excellent customer service and create a memorable holiday experience for all our guests. Nestled in the heart of Whitfield, our central location is perfect for exploring the stunning King Valley.

Discover Our Peaceful Retreat

Valley View Caravan Park offers a relaxed atmosphere amidst the serene surroundings of the Upper King Valley, near the King River and Lake William Hovell. Our park is set in the picturesque foothills of the Victorian High Country, providing a quiet and tranquil getaway. It's an ideal spot to unwind and soak in the breathtaking mountain scenery.

Accommodation and Facilities

We cater to a variety of accommodation needs with:

64 powered and unpowered sites
6 Deluxe Cabins
4 Park Pods

Our facilities include a well-equipped camp kitchen, a barbeque area, picnic spots, a playground, and laundry amenities complete with an ironing board and iron. We also offer a dump point, e-bike hire, an automated bike wash, a bike maintenance station, and secured bike storage.

Amenities and Hospitality

We pride ourselves on our friendly hospitality and exceptionally clean amenities block. Plus, we're pet-friendly, though we kindly ask that pets are strictly not allowed with our onsite accommodation reservations.

Great camping experience

Thanks John and Sue, the ebikes were fun and exciting. The location was great and amenities clean and new. Saw great sunsets and then warm use of the fire pit. Easy walk to wineries and the local hotel. Also watched a local footy game. A fun and easy visit. Well done.

Beautiful spot!

Beautiful caravan park. Lots of trees, plenty of space, peaceful and quiet. Amenities block is exceptionally clean. Walking distance to the pub, Dalzotto winery over the road, and King River Brewing is a short drive away. Perfect base location for visiting wineries, bush walks and pretty fishing spots. Sue and John are terrific hosts and other staff are helpful and friendly.

Perfect spot in the King Valley

The Valley View Caravan Park is an ideal place to stay when exploring the beautiful King Valley. The park has accommodation to suit your needs - cabins, pods, excellent camp sites. The facilities are spotlessly clean. I particularly like that you can have camp fires. John and Sue are very friendly. I would highly recommend this park for a great stay.

What to do on a weekend

What a great caravan park. We had a lovely time and the facilities were terrific. Plenty of things to do and able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. Nice to sit by the fire at night time and look at the clear skies and stars! We are definitely planning on a return visit.

Highly Recommend

We recently stayed for 3 nights in a cabin at Valley Views Caravan Park and would highly recommend this caravan park. John and Sue keep the park in immaculate condition. The grounds, cabins and facilities are outstanding. We were there over New Year and were able to enjoy dinner and a live band organised by the park owners, John and Sue. They really care about their visitors.

Aside from a great Park, there is an abundance of places to visit close by, including top wineries (Dal Zotto, Pizzini, Chrismont) just to name a few), Pradise Falls, Power Lookout as well as a great cafe and hotel with amazing meals within walking distance of the caravan park. Tip: the cafe has the most amazing croissants and other pastries home made daily!

We will definitely be back to stay at Valley Views caravan park. Don’t just make it a stop over, do stay a few nights!
