3. Eco-Education – Inform guests on how they can contribute to our sustainability goals during their stay.

4. Conservation & Care – Protect native flora and fauna, manage land responsibly, and minimise the use of single-use plastics.

5. Inclusive & Ethical Practices – Ensure our park is welcoming, safe, and accessible to all.

Our Climate Action Plan

We acknowledge the challenges climate change poses to our region and industry. Our Climate Action Plan outlines the steps we are taking to mitigate our impact and adapt to change:

• Investing in renewable energy systems (solar) to reduce grid reliance
• Installed solar street lighting and bollards to reduce emissions and improve park safety
• Conducting annual sustainability audits and measuring progress
• Supporting regional reforestation and tree-planting efforts
• Reducing reliance on fossil fuels through group transport and electric bike usage
• Raising awareness among staff and guests about climate-positive choices

We aim to future-proof our park operations, safeguard our natural assets, and support the resilience of our region.

Emissions Reduction Action Plan

We are committed to tracking and reducing our carbon footprint. Our key actions include:

 Monitoring & Measuring

• Using smart meters to track electricity consumption
• Investigating carbon calculator tools specific to caravan park operations

 Reducing Direct Emissions

• Continued use and expansion of solar energy
• Solar-powered street and bollard lighting to replace traditional mains-powered lights
• Timed lighting and motion sensors in shared facilities
• Efficient water heating systems

Reducing Indirect Emissions

• Local sourcing to reduce transport-related emissions
• Encouraging guests to offset travel emissions and choose eco-friendly transport
• Promoting longer stays to reduce overall visitor turnover and emissions intensity

Future Goals

• Transition our shuttle vehicle to a hybrid or electric by 2030
• Introduce more energy-efficient accommodation and campsite infrastructure
• Reach a 30% reduction in total emissions by 2030 compared to our 2025 baseline.
