 | At the foothills of the Victorian High Country, nestled among rolling vineyards and bushland, lies Valley View Caravan Park—a peaceful haven for travellers, explorers, and those seeking a slower pace. But behind the park’s tranquil setting is a heartfelt story of hard work, hospitality, and a dream brought to life by a husband-and-wife team. We are John and Sue, the proud owners and caretakers of Valley View. Our journey here wasn’t planned overnight. John spent decades as a self-employed builder, shaping homes and communities with his hands, while Sue worked in finance as an assistant account and payroll manager. We were ready for a new chapter—something where we could work together, create something of our own, and welcome others into a place that felt like home. In 2014, that dream became real. We packed up our old life and took a leap of faith, purchasing the caravan park in the beautiful village of Whitfield. With a clear vision, sleeves rolled up, and plenty of elbow grease, we began transforming Valley View into what it is today: a modern, welcoming park with a strong sense of community, connection, and care. From day one, our focus has been on the little things—those personal touches that make your stay memorable. Whether it’s a friendly hello at check-in, tips for exploring the King Valley, or just a chat over the fence, we’re here because we love what we do. |
